Richey Suncoast Theatre is casting Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr., an all-kids show by RST Kids, proudly presented by Duke Energy. Join Ariel, Sebastian, Flounder, King Triton, Ursula and friends as we bring this beloved Disney classic to life on our stage. We can't wait to see what treasures you'll bring from under the sea!
An All-Kids Show, Ages 6 to 18
Every role in this production is played by young performers. Whether your child has been on stage before or this is their very first audition, this is a fun, welcoming way to step into the spotlight and be part of a full Disney musical.
No Experience Necessary
All roles are open to anyone ages 6 to 18. This is a non-paid performing and volunteer opportunity. As Richey Suncoast Theatre celebrates its 100th year, there is no better time for the next generation of performers to take the stage in a theatre that has been part of New Port Richey since 1926.
How to Prepare
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script and a 16 to 32 bar selection (about one minute) from The Little Mermaid Jr., another Disney musical, or a song in a similar style.
Performers may sing a cappella or with a backing track on their device. Monologues are not required but are welcome.
