The story unfolds in three acts. Act I During a dress rehearsal of Nothing On, actors forget lines, miss cues, mishandle props, and clash with one another while their frustrated director struggles to keep the production on track. Act II One month into the tour, the audience sees the action from backstage. Romantic entanglements, jealousy, and personal feuds among the cast begin to sabotage the performance, resulting in increasingly hilarious mishaps. Act III Near the end of the tour, both the actors and the production are falling apart. The performance descends into complete comic disaster as everything that can go wrong does go wrong.
