We are still glowing from the energy and inspiration of our recent 2nd Friday interpreted performance of The Wizard of Oz, where the power of accessibility and community came together in a truly unforgettable way.

On this special night, our stage was shared not only by talented actors but also by an extraordinary team of ASL interpreters who brought the beloved story to life with passion, precision, and heart. Their dedication to the craft was evident in every gesture and expression, and the impact was felt deeply by everyone in the audience.



A Powerful Show of Support from the Deaf Community

What made the evening even more meaningful was the incredible turnout. 68 attendees came specifically to support the interpreted show—many traveling from across the tri-county area. Deaf community members, families, friends, and allies filled the theatre with warmth and solidarity, showing just how vital accessible performances are.

This wasn’t just a show—it was a celebration of inclusion, artistry, and the belief that theatre should be for everyone.
