It’s time to trade the Florida humidity for the spotlight! This summer, Richey Suncoast Theatre is transforming our stage into a playground for young performers. Whether your child is taking their very first bow or is ready for a full-scale musical production, we have a week (or two!) designed just for them.
Here is the full lineup for our 2026 RST Kids Musical Theatre Summer Camps. Space is limited, so grab your spot before the curtain rises!
🎭 2026 Summer Camp Schedule
Week One: Finding Nemo
Ages: 6–9 Years
Dates: June 22–26, 2026
Fee: $300 (plus taxes and fees)
Perfect for our youngest stars! This week focuses on the fundamentals of "Learning ON STAGE" through the lens of everyone’s favorite underwater adventure.
Key Activities: Intro to acting, theatre games, and theatrical design projects.
Finale: A performance followed by a Pizza & Karaoke party on Friday!
Week Two: The Lion King
Ages: 10–12 Years
Dates: July 6–10, 2026
Fee: $300 (plus taxes and fees)
As students grow, so does the complexity. This week dives deeper into the technical side of the pride lands.
Key Activities: Group acting lessons and hands-on design projects involving sets, costumes, and props.
Finale: Friday performance and celebration party.
Weeks Three & Four: The Lightning Thief (Full Production)
Ages: 13–18 Years
Dates: July 13–26, 2026 (Two-week intensive)
Fee: $500 (plus taxes and fees)
Our teens will take on the "Percy Jackson Musical" in a professional-style rehearsal environment. This is a rigorous, two-week program ending in a full-scale production.
Key Activities: Advanced acting and musical theatre lessons, plus an Introduction to Stage Combat.
Performances: Full shows for the public on July 24–26.
Week Five: Circus Camp (The Greatest Showman Theme)
Ages: 10–15 Years
Dates: July 27–31, 2026
Fee: $300 (plus taxes and fees)
Run away to the circus without leaving New Port Richey! This high-energy week blends traditional theatre with the spectacle of the big top.
Key Activities: Technical theatre demonstrations and circus-themed design projects.
Finale: A show-stopping final performance and party.
